Welcome to my process.

Whether designing interiors for clients, UX workflows in Figma, or mechanical assemblies in Solidworks, I approach new challenges with curiosity, empathy, and precision.

01

Curiosity, to me, means remaining open and delighting in defining unknowns. What are our goals? For whom are we designing? What are the constraints? In product design specifically, what does success look like and how will we measure it? I avoid jumping into “solution mode” until I have exhausted this questioning.

02

Empathy is the backbone of my design process. Once I’ve defined who’s going to use the product or space, I want to know their goals, hopes, fears, pain points, habits, and history. A design could be beautiful, elegant, but it will only truly be useful if it can address these constraints and concerns.

Precision manifests specifically in my product work in a few ways. Given the constraints of physics and material science, my mechanical designs must be precise in order to become functioning products. I define my UX designs in collaboration with engineers to create a consistent experience on every platform. By precisely targeting core problems, I help my teams remain efficient and effective.
